What music gets you going/pumped up?
I've been listening to this fucking album for a whole week straight. A great motivator when working on Runic Cipher, I must say. This song especially, since I gotta hurry my ass up and release another demo soon! But, it must not be rushed. Meticulous effort...

I'm Going To Be Among The RMN Dads
Faith, religion, and you
author=Dyhalto
My point is that Atheism is a religion without an institution. But it can still be as full of bile as any of the big "one true religions". Imagine, if you will, a nation's leader getting up on the podium and saying "We must eradicate religion. It is barbaric and will doom us all. Lower your ploughshares and raise your swords, we will go to war to protect civil society from superstition-motivated savagery." That's what the creation of an Atheist institution might look like in the future.
Not true. Very few atheists would share such an extremist view like that. Many people who are atheists or agnostics would not mind befriending religious people, as long as both parties can agree not to try to change the beliefs of one another. And as for the upper half of the quoted text, much of the world's problems today have been influenced by religion. Imagine if we never even brought up religion? Imagine how far our society would have advanced today?

1. The last thing that runs through my mind when making games on a shitty program like RPG Maker 2000 is the assumption that I'd want to make some money off of them. No one with an IQ over 80 would want to pay a single penny for an RM game, no matter how less-sucky it is compared to its contemporaries.
2. No, because I see this game-making thing as nothing more than a hobby. I do not care for mainstream video game companies these days (besides Nintendo). Indie gaming is the true future for gaming innovation, but I'm not interested in taking a career in game design personally.

If your game has these words in its title, it's a big red flag
author=NightowlApparently the world can't get enough ofauthor=Allen HunterThat should be the name of the world's most cliche traditional RPG made with RPG Maker 2003.

author=SorceressKyrstyauthor=Allen HunterWell, it'd be pretty pointless to have an animu game with semi-realistic animated cutscenes, wouldn't it?
Not bad...
For anime.
especially if it's a JRPG based on the most popular JRPGs of all time.
and everything else is animu.
All I was saying it's not bad for that style. Personally the anime/manga style of art is overused and non-distinctive since it's been the norm for over a decade. But if you're basing it off a jRPG of your choice, fine, but that wasn't the point.
I just get really annoyed by all the "~omgkawaii~" stuff in anime/manga (like that girl making that exact facial expression behind the guy) and it only makes me see it (talking about anime/manga in general) as something more intended for little kids and not something you can take seriously. I just wish there were more RPG Maker games that tried to be more realistic and didn't have characters with big ol' eyes and "~omgkawaii~" faces. I'm all for badassery.
But hey, it's not my game, so whatever.
